Working regularly at local festivals as event coordinator or stage manager. Festivals include Exodus and Splendor in the grass.
In amongst all these jobs noted above there has been an ever-present musical alliance (band) striving for commercial recognition and financial security. Ultimately I would love to make my living from that which I love most…but sadly as of yet this is not the case. So here I am.
For the past six months I have been a casual bookkeeper using MYOB for several local businesses.
Driving an airport shuttle bus for the last year has also added to my skills of communication and public service.
I have also set myself up as a self employed record label manager. Dose recordings has been up and running now for 3 years and has a high online profile selling and promoting local Australian electronic music.
In the early nineties I set up a record label called Organarchy sound systems. I released three cd’s and am still presently running this as a hobby.
Helped set up and run a venue in Sydney called ‘Jellyhedz in which the whole community took part in putting on their own events and creating a very strong local community network.
Moved into the public radio domain with jobs at both Radio Skid row in Sydney and Bay FM in Byron bay. This remains a major interest in my life.
Worked at Laurie’s vegetarian café where I became a salad chef. I spent two years perfecting the art of salad dressings and presentation.
Moved to Sydney where my brother took me on as an unofficial trainee in his painting and decorating business where I flourished for 4 years.
Moved to Australia where I spent my first two years dairy farming on a cattle station in Warrnambool Victoria.
Joined the British Navy for 6 months and was taught rigging methods and sea faring duties.
Began my employment by working in a men’s fashion shop learning basic social skills and sales practices.
